Each gram of Eco Plus Cream contains Econazole Nitrate 10 mg and Triamcinolone Acetonide 1 mg.
Eco Plus Cream is indicated for dermatomycosis caused by dermatophytes, yeast, and fungus with accompanying inflammatory and allergic symptoms, such as various eczematous mycoses, diaper dermatitis, eczema marginatum, intertrigo, folliculitis, tinea corporis, and sycosis barbae. It is also suitable for treating mycosis in various body folds.
Apply the cream by gently rubbing it into the affected skin once or twice daily for 14 days, or as directed by the physician.
Econazole modifies fungal cell wall permeability, interfering with RNA and protein synthesis, and lipid metabolism. Triamcinolone predominantly exhibits glucocorticoid activity, suppressing the migration of leukocytes and reducing capillary permeability, thereby decreasing inflammation.
Rarely, transient local irritation, itching, and redness may occur. Prolonged use may lead to adrenal suppression, particularly in infants or children.
In case of accidental ingestion, treat symptomatically. If applied to the eyes, wash with clean water or saline and seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
Topical administration: Apply 2-3 times daily to the affected area and gently rub into the skin. Continue applications for 14 days.
Potential interactions include those with compounds metabolized by CYP3A4/2C9, oral anticoagulants, salicylates, NSAIDs, antidiabetics, amphotericin B, beta-blockers, diuretics, theophylline, ciclosporin, carbamazepine, phenytoin, barbiturates, rifampicin, and live vaccines.
Contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to any ingredients or specific skin conditions such as tuberculous or viral skin infections.
Use during pregnancy and lactation should be cautious and prescribed only if clearly needed, as systemic absorption may occur.
For external use only. Discontinue use in case of hypersensitivity reactions. Avoid prolonged use or application to large areas of skin.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light, and out of reach of children.
